This weekend my husband surprised me with a trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake for our 5 year Anniversary! We were both so surprised to see how much it reminded us of Napa (where he proposed). Niagara-on-the-Lake is just over the border in Canada and it sits right on Lake Ontario. It has so many beautiful wineries and the cutest downtown area. One of our favorite wineries we stopped at, Konzelmann Estate Winery, has an amazing view overlooking their vineyard and the lake just beyond that. My husband booked a private winemaster tour here that we definitely recommend! We also really enjoyed Pellar Estates, which has beautiful grounds and tasty wine. Of all of the places we stopped, I think Trius Winery was our favorite. The whole property is gorgeous and the wine was delicious! We did a private tasting at the Loft upstairs with some of their small lot and vintage wines. Then we enjoyed dinner at their restaurant and it was sooo good! The perfect end to a fun filled day with my love:)
